Farmers

With the recent increases in fertilizer prices, there has never been a better time to contact us about recycling wastes to land for fertilizer value. We have over 15 years experience of spreading wastes to land for agricultural benefit and our operations could save you thousands of pounds this year.

Depending on the location of your land we can offer a range of products to suit your land and cropping requirements;

Commercial

Our commercial operation recycles liquid food wastes and sludges from sites throughout the North West and North Wales to agricultural land. The wastes provide significant levels of nitrogen (N) and phosphate (P). Waste is transported to the site and is direct injected using an umbilical cord system. Not only does this provide nutrient directly to the root zone, but helps to aerate the soil.

Black Liquor

A high potash liquid waste stream, this is top spread either by umbilical cord system or tractor tanker. As the waste is low in nitrogen and phosphate, it is suitable to be used with other waste streams including sewage sludge, paper pulp and farm wastes. The black liquor is in high demand so why not contact us to discuss registering your unused farm lagoon top ensure availability when you need it.

Sewage Sludge (Biosolids)

We currently operate from a number of sewage treatment works throughout North Wales and North West England. Providing significant amounts of nitrogen, phosphate and sulphur, sewage sludge has been used in agriculture for many years. Dewatered sludge (sludge cake) is taken out of the sewage works using tractor and trailer and can either be spread direct to land or stockpiled for application later in the year.

All our operations are carried out under exemptions in the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007 (formally the Waste management regulation) and we are regulated by the Environment Agency. We also comply with the following regulations;

The Safe Sludge Matrix
The Sludge (Use in Agriculture) Regulations 1989
The Code of Practice for Agricultural Use of Sewage Sludge 2nd Edition
The Code of Good Agricultural Practice for the protection of Water, Air and Soil (CoGAP)
Nitrate Vunerable Zones and Groundwater Protection Legislation
